It hasn't been long since the full version Core Keeper was released. Developer Pugstorm has revealed that the game has recently reached a new milestone. It appears that the title now has a lifetime total of more than 3 million players.
It was only on August 27 when the game's full version was released for the PC/ Since them it has received a "Very Positive" rating on Steam with at least 37,000 user reviews. The game is also available for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. In addition, there are plans to make it also available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
In a statement, Chief Marketing Officer of publisher Fireshine Games Sarah Hoeksma shared that the success of the game has only been made possible due to the "love, care and attention" which the developer has poured into this this title. She added that they're truly happy to see that a lot of players are enjoying the adventure. Hoeksma went on to say that they're thankful as well to the community of players and are excited to introduce the game to other platforms.
Core Keeper is a mining sandbox adventure game the features procedural generation. It's a game where players get to take on the role of explorers who awaken in an ancient cavern of creatures, resources, and trinkets. They now need to mine relics and resources to build their base, craft new equipment, and power up the Core. In addition, they also have to discover hidden secrets, farm crops, cook new recipes, and explore the vast underground cave of endless resources.
The game offers players a chance to delve into living biomes, fight cavernous creatures in a vast subterranean system, and scour the dark world around them to encounter underground behemoths. Customization is available in the game which has players craft new items, armor, and equipment to venture further into the caves.
The game allows players to survive alone or play online with up to 7 other players. They can work together to mine resources, fight, farm, craft, and survive. Each player can specialize in their role to help their fellow explorers tame the unruly landscape they find themselves in.
