SOKOL KEEP
1. Gate to New Phlan
2. Elf skeleton
3. Ghost
4. Enemy Troops
5. Ferran Martinez
6. Treasure
This sector is considered cleared when you tell the truth to Ferran Martinez.
The Keep is almost abandoned. At 2 you can find the remains of an elf, if you search it youll find a
scroll with some runes on it. They translated as LUX, SHESTNI and SAMOSUD.
Proceed through the north gates to enter the Keep. There are only four patrols of undead (skeletons
and zombies) in this area, you can eliminate them or you can parlay and use the word SHESTNI
to drive them away (but theyll return). It is suggested to eliminate the undead once and for all.
(Note that after you talk to Ferran Martinez only the word SAMOSUD will work with the
patrols). When youve defeated the four patrols you can freely rest here.
There are also random encounters of scorpions (in the left side of the area) and frog (in the right
side of the area). Theyre not difficult but they cannot be eliminated from the Keep.
At 3 youll encounter a ghost; choose to parlay with it and digit LUX. The spirit will then reveal a
hidden treasure to you.
The central part of the Keep is guarded by a huge enemy force at 4. There is a large number of orcs
and hobgoblins here and you must defeat them to gain access to the building. Use Sleep spell on
enemy archers and use the front lines to kill everything else. Its a difficult battle but it can be won.
When youve finished the battle enter the building and talk with Ferran Martinez at 5. Use the word
LUX and, when asked, tell him the truth. Hell reveal a secret area along with the fate of the
Keep.
Leave the spirit and reach the secret treasure at 6 through the invisible wall shown on the map.
(Note that this wall cannot be passed until you speak with Ferran Martinez).
The Keep is now concluded so take the boat back to New Phlan and visit the Clerk for your reward.
Rest and heal; your new commission is Podol Plaza but you should explore Kutos Well first.
