KOBOLDS CAVE
1. Exit to the Surface
2. Kobold Trap
3. Kobold King
4. Princess Fatima
5. Old Kobold
6. Wyvern
7. Treasure
8. Brass Bottle
This sector is considered cleared when you find the body of the King.
In this area you cannot rest until you eliminate the king. At 2 there is a kobold that, if followed, will
bring you directly to 6. There is a wyvern there so leave it go for now.
Go west and north to 4 to free Princess Fatima. Shell join your party if you want and shes a good
fighter. Go to 3 and be prepared.
The battle consists of three waves of monsters. The first wave is made up of kobolds and trolls, the
second of kobolds and wild boars and the third is a small group of kobolds, trolls, wild boars and
fighters. You cannot rest between waves and beware that between the first and the second one the
king will trigger a trap that you cannot avoid so prepare to loose some Hit Points here. After the
second wave you can continue the battle to heal your party with potions or clerics.
When you win the battle the king will flee. You can rest and heal now so do it before chasing the
king. Proceed toward the treasure chamber and the last group of monsters will attack you but
theyre not a threat. When you finally approach the treasure at 7 youll automatically discover the
body of the king. The mission is now concluded so grab the treasure and use the Search command
at 8 to discover and pull out the brass bottle mentioned by the dragon (Note that its not made by
silver). An efreeti will appear and if you tell him the truth hell join your party in the right time.
Eliminate the wyvern at 6 now and give some water to an old kobold at 5. (Note that you must use
the Search command to find him).
Leave the cave and return to the dragon; hell reveal the true nature of the bottle. (Note that if
Fatima is still alive when you exit the cave shell leave).
Your new objective will bring you to the Sorcerers Island. Take the boat (19, 14) to cross the lake
and enter the strange pyramid.
